On the 15th-19th of November, Amalie showcased her paintings with Hunar Art Gallery at one of the renowned and highly acclaimed art fairs, Abudhabi Art Fair. The exhibition was called " For You, part two" in association with her book 'For You' and featured 13 works of art.
On the 12th of May, Beljafla had her first Solo Exhibition in Dubai, at Yadawei Gallery called " For You". The exhibition was in association with the launch of her first book " For You" and featured Large scaled mixed media and Acrylic paintings.
Amalie redesigned the new logo & symbol for the Art House Cafe, in Al Bateen, Abudhabi. She was also involved in creating a new healthy gluten free menu concept for the Cafe as well as designing their new menu.
Amalie Collaborated with H.E. Mr Khalid Seddiq and his gallery Etihad Modern Art Gallery and Designed T-Shirts as well as Stationary using her illustrations for Emirates Red Crescent.
Amalie started her own Fashion House called “Amalie” , which will consist of luxury swimwear and resort wear, www.amalieresort.co.uk , launching in Summer 2016.
Amalie’s first book “For You” got published by Balboa Press a division of Hayhouse one of the biggest publishing companies in the U.K. and in The U.S. For You is now available to purchase internationally on Amazon, on Balboa Press and in several bookshops.
Amalie won the Grazia award and showcased her collection in Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah, and was invited to meet with Vogue Italy.
Amalie won the Vogue and Fashion Forward award for best upcoming middle eastern designer of the year and was asked to showcase her work during Dubai Fashion Forward on April 2013.
Amalie launched her first semi couture women’s wear collection called the Flamingo Collection AW13 on the 18th of February at London’s Bulgari Hotel where the ball room was transformed into a Lagoon with reeds to mimic the Flamingo’s habitat. Amalie participated in a project set by the Belgian Tourist Office called The First and the Last, about commemorating sacrifices made in the Great War 1914-18. Her art piece for this project was showcased in the OXO gallery and the Swiss Cottage Library gallery.
